Ashlee is a Special Counsel at PGC Legal, and has practiced in dispute resolution and litigation since she was admitted to practice in 2012.
She has appeared before all South Australian Courts on interlocutory matters, and has instructed counsel at trial and on appeal in the Magistrates Court, District Court, and the Supreme Court (including the Full Court of the Supreme Court). With her broad range of experience, Ashlee has provided legal advice and representation in the following areas:
- Professional registration matters, including assisting health practitioners obtain professional registration;
- Assisting registered health practitioners maintain their registration by providing advice in relation to compliance with legal and ethical obligations, and Ahpra and other requirements;
- Supporting health practitioners respond to Notifications and disciplinary proceedings brought by the various Health Practitioner Boards;
- Contested Wills and claims under the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act;
- Equitable claims, including unconscionable retention of benefit claims;
- Disputes in relation to administration and guardianship orders;
- Mortgagor possession claims;
- Contract disputes;
- Property disputes;
- Debt recovery and enforcement; and
- Advising in relation to search orders and taking Court appointments as Independent Lawyers for the supervision of search orders.
Prior to joining PGC Legal, Ashlee spent eight years working for one of Adelaide’s leading community law firms.
Ashlee also values the importance of giving back to her local community. She is currently the Honourary Legal Advisor of her local surf lifesaving club, and has served on the Management Board in the past.
