Bill was admitted as a lawyer in 1987. For nearly 15 years he was a Partner of a medium-sized commercial law firm in Adelaide. At the beginning of 2010, he established a niche legal firm, reflecting his areas of specialist expertise, and he joined PGC Legal as a Consultant in 2021.

Commercial Property
Bill is well regarded as a leading expert in commercial leasing, having advised both landlords and tenants in relation to tenancies of all shapes and sizes (industrial, commercial and retail) for more than 30 years. He has also represented both buyers and sellers of many significant properties in South Australia, including major shopping centres, office towers and industrial sites.
Infrastructure Projects
Bill has been directly involved in a number of substantial infrastructure projects around the State. These include Public Private Partnerships, a number of wind farms, the planning and construction of a gas-fired power station, a major water filtration development along the Murray River, a wastewater management scheme and several irrigation water pipeline projects.
He has also advised in relation to the development of coastal marinas, including undertaking various land divisions for staged residential releases, the establishment of marina berths (both by Community Scheme and leasehold release) and associated legal documentation and conveyancing activities.
Succession Planning
For many years, Bill has specialised in the structuring of Wills (both simple and complex), the establishment of Trusts and the preparation of Enduring Powers of Attorney, Advanced Care Directives and associated legal documentation.
He has also assisted many families in managing the challenging process of passing valuable business assets from one generation to another. In addition to offering his specialist legal skills, Bill brings a keen understanding of the importance of relationships, fairness and achieving family harmony.
