Clairissa was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2017.

Since then, and prior to starting at PGC Legal, Clairissa has practiced predominantly in commercial litigation and dispute resolution in two highly-regarded commercial law firms in Adelaide. She has experience in general contract disputes, construction disputes, and most recently, has been advising in relation to various defamation matters, including where sensitive areas of Aboriginal customary law and native title corporations have been involved.

Clairissa assists clients with succession planning, including in the drafting of wills, powers of attorney and Advance Care Directives. She also experience undertaking transactional and commercial advisory work for clients, including reviewing and negotiating the terms of building contracts, leases and other agreements.

Clairissa has acted as the instructing solicitor at trial and on appeal, as well as regularly appearing before the South Australian Courts and Tribunals. During her university studies, Clairissa also worked part-time assisting in-house counsel for a large Australian franchise.

Clairissa is also a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, and is passionate about female participation in the legal and other commercial professions.
