Lucas is a Senior Associate in our commercial, property and corporate practice.
He provides pragmatic, timely and actionable advice in plain English, working with clients to understand and help efficiently achieve their commercial objectives.
His experience includes advising in relation to complex land developments and transactions, corporate governance matters, and cross-border contracts.
Substantial experience in commercial dispute resolution complements his ability to advise clients at an early stage about anticipated risks should disputes later arise.
Lucas predominantly focuses on helping clients in:
- Commercial property transactions (including commercial leasing) and land developments / projects (including deal structuring);
- General commercial transactions including business (asset and share) sales / purchases and supply contracts;
- Corporate governance and business succession including preparing shareholders agreements and buy-sell agreements; and
- Discretionary and unit trusts (both establishing and advising about them) including in relation to family trusts.
Lucas also helps clients in relation to trade marks and intellectual property, and advises on Form 1 vendor statements and retirement village contracts.
